Refund and Cancellation Policy
Our policies regarding service cancellations and refunds

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, modifications, and refunds related to laboratory services provided by DR REDDY S LABORATORIES LTD, operating under the brand name Reddy Anna ("we," "our," or "us"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by this policy.
1. General Provisions
We understand that circumstances may change, requiring modifications or cancellations to planned laboratory services. This policy aims to provide clear guidelines on how such situations are handled, ensuring fairness to both parties while acknowledging the specialized nature of laboratory services.
Please note that specific projects may have custom terms outlined in individual service agreements or statements of work, which will take precedence over this general policy where applicable.
2. Service Booking and Payment
2.1 Service Confirmation
A laboratory service is considered booked and confirmed when:
- You have received a written confirmation from us (via email or other documented means)
- The required deposit or advance payment has been received as specified in the service agreement
- All necessary documentation, including service agreements and confidentiality agreements, has been completed and signed by both parties
2.2 Payment Structure
Unless otherwise specified in the service agreement, our standard payment structure is as follows:
- Initial Deposit: 30-50% of the total service cost, due before commencement of work
- Interim Payments: May be required for long-term or multi-phase projects, as outlined in the service agreement
- Final Payment: Remaining balance due upon completion of services and before the release of final reports or results
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel confirmed laboratory services, the following terms apply:
3.1.1 Cancellation Before Service Commencement
- More than 14 business days before scheduled start date: Full refund of any payments made, less a 10% administrative fee
- 7-14 business days before scheduled start date: 70% refund of any payments made
- 3-7 business days before scheduled start date: 50% refund of any payments made
- Less than 3 business days before scheduled start date: 25% refund of any payments made
3.1.2 Cancellation After Service Commencement
If you cancel services after work has begun:
- You will be charged for all work completed up to the cancellation date
- You will be charged for any materials specifically purchased or prepared for your project
- You will be charged for any non-recoverable costs incurred by us in preparation for your service
- Any remaining balance after these deductions will be refunded
3.2 Cancellation by Reddy Anna
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or postpone scheduled services due to unforeseen circumstances such as equipment failure, facility issues, or force majeure events. In such cases:
- We will notify you as soon as possible about the cancellation or postponement
- We will work with you to reschedule the services at a mutually convenient time
- If rescheduling is not possible or acceptable to you, we will provide a full refund of any payments made for the cancelled services
- We will not be liable for any consequential losses or damages resulting from such cancellations
4. Modification of Services
4.1 Changes Requested by Client
If you need to modify the scope or specifications of confirmed services:
- All modification requests must be submitted in writing
- Requests made more than 7 business days before the scheduled start date will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability and any additional costs
- Requests made less than 7 business days before the scheduled start date, or after work has commenced, will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional charges
- Any additional costs resulting from the modifications will be communicated to you before proceeding
4.2 Changes Required by Reddy Anna
If we need to modify the agreed services due to technical, regulatory, or other legitimate reasons:
- We will notify you promptly of the required changes and the reasons for them
- If the modifications result in a reduction of services or deliverables, appropriate adjustments to the fee will be made
- If the modifications result in additional services or costs, these will be discussed with you before proceeding
5. Refund Process
5.1 Refund Timelines
When a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the approved refund request
- Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed
- For international transactions, please allow up to 30 business days for the refund to appear in your account due to banking and currency conversion processes
5.2 Refund Documentation
All refunds will be accompanied by documentation detailing:
- The original service and payment details
- The reason for the refund
- The calculation of the refund amount
- Any deductions made and their justification
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Custom or Specialized Services
For highly customized or specialized laboratory services that require significant preparation, special equipment, or dedicated resources:
- More restrictive cancellation terms may apply, as specified in the service agreement
- Non-refundable deposits may be required
- Longer notice periods for cancellation may be necessary
6.2 Long-Term Projects
For projects spanning multiple months or phases:
- Cancellation terms may apply to each phase separately
- Milestone-based refund policies may be implemented
- Early termination fees may apply, as specified in the service agreement
6.3 Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations if such failure is a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout, or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
In the event of a force majeure:
- The affected party shall notify the other party as soon as reasonably possible
- Services will be suspended during the period of force majeure
- Both parties will work together to find alternative solutions or reschedule services
- If services cannot be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe, either party may request termination of the agreement with a fair settlement of costs incurred and work completed
7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute regarding cancellations or refunds:
- Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiations
- If negotiations are unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved through arbitration in Hyderabad, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
- The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a single arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the parties
8. Amendments to this Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
For services already confirmed before a policy update, the version of the policy in effect at the time of confirmation will apply, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
